Plo Koon was a Kel Dor from the planet Dorin. He came from a proud Jedi family, somehow getting around that whole pesky "no wife and no kids" rule.

Growing up, Plo was given the nickname "Chewed Bubble Gum Head" by his incredibly insensitive father, Teddy Koon. Through this though, Plo learned the quiet reserve and ability to sit there and never respond to anything that he needed to serve on the Jedi Council.

Plo was present when Anakin Skywalker was brought before the Council, though he said nothing. Plo also said nothing at the Battle Of Geonosis, where a Jedi task force rescued Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padme Amidala. Plo also kept to himself as his Clones blew his ass up at Cato Neimoidia when Order 66 was issued towards the end of the Clone Wars.
